These are the first photographs from the new addition to my camera family, an Olympus semi-automatic 35mm. Captured the grand Streetfest and also Coco's rainy but brilliant BBQ.

StreetFest 2011 photoboothness

Went down to StreetFest yesterday which was so much fun (Props to Ollie and his crew for a successful positive, no beef event). I especially enjoyed the spoken word stage with so many super passionate expressive poets the most amazing band. But there was also a whole bag of fun to really squeeze every pennies worth out of your ten queens heads, I list: live music, photobooth, live graffiti, illustrators, skateboarding, skating and bmx-ing, photobooth, hot food, port-a-loo's, virtual graffiti wall, oh and did I mention they had a free photobooth? I was using my new film camera so photo will follow after exposure, but for now I have the four frames of a couple of the many photobooth moments of the day.

MApril 2011 35mm

April and May just rolled into eachother, the most unusual occurrence during these months was the arrival of Summer instead of Spring weather. I wasn't complaining. But now we seen to have gone back to Autumn. Sucks!
